Vaporizers are a great choice for the smoker who wants to enjoy their product, but without the hazards of inhaling smoke. Product like tobacco, plants and herbs (like rosemary and oregano) are placed in a bowl or tray, then heated with very hot air, rather than a flame. Through heating the materials, without combustion, and causing the natural oils to vaporize, one can get all the desired affects without smoke. The heated vapor is then pumped into a bag for inhalation, or inhaled directly through a hose, also called a whip. Because of the lack of smoke, vaporizing is also a much safer way for patients to smoke medical marijuana. Bongs & Pipes are a more common way of smoking. The product is placed in a bowl, heated, then inhaled into a chamber, sometimes filled with water where the smoke is cooled and filtered, then inhaled. Bongs may have multiple bowls and water chambers. Hemp City has pipes and bongs from Puff, Gear, and Red Eye Glass.

Hookahs, a long standing Eastern tradition, provide a more social aspect to smoking. Also called a waterpipe, the hookah is a tall standing pipe with a single or several hoses, or whips, coming off main structure. Shisha (fruit-flavoured tobacco) is what is most commonly smoked in a hookah. Hemp City offers anything from single-hose hookahs to 4+ hose hookahs.

Grinders are used to bust up product into smaller pieces, making it easier to roll or pack. There are varying sizes for grinders in varying qualities. Smaller plastic ones to large machined stainless steel grinders. Which one works for you depends on what and how much you smoke or vaporize.

Papers are the most common form of smoking. Rolling product into a cigarette (also called a reefer, blunt, doobie, cigarillo, or cigar depending on product and type of paper used) has been done since the 9th century. The end of the paper is then lit and inhaled. Filters, flavoured papers and tips on which to suck from are also popular. Flavoured papers and tips add the flavour of fruit, desserts, candy and other foods if the smoker desires.
