Are there any other stores like this one?


YES! We are a chain of businesses! There are four locations including Kamloops, Prince George, Mission and Cranbrook! And yes you can expect the same quality service, product and prices at each and every one of our beautiful locations.
Can I pay with American money or American express?

No, sorry because we are a small Canadian business we do not have the means to accept American express cards. Also due to constantly changing exchange rates the value of the Canadian dollar versus the American dollar fluctuates too frequently to account for differences. We do however accept VISA and MASTERCARD as well as INTERAC.

Do you know where Hemp City is?


We are Hemp City! Look no further! Doctor Love Hemp City is two stores in one with an extensive selection of adult products for the lover and the smoker.
Do you know where I can find some ______?

Absolutely not. We do not sell, nor will we tell you where you may buy any elicit materials.  Doctor Love & Hemp City are legitimate retail stores who do not support any sort of unlawful activity. Which means we are a respectable chain of businesses and our employees respect the law.  We sell smoking accessories and tobacco ONLY.  If you ask, you may be told to leave the store.    
Can I bring my baby in the store? I'll only be a minute.

 No. It doesn't matter how long you will be in the store for, legally we cannot allow persons under 18 years of age to enter the store for any amount of time. Please arrange for alternate care for your child before coming into our businesses. It isn't that we don't like babies; it's the law.
Do you carry "volcano" vaporizers?

Yes, we can aquire the volcano brand vaporizer. However we also carry several other newer brands of vaporizers, most of which are much less expensive. Drop on by to have an associate explain the differences between products and/or how a vaporizer works.

Can I try this on?


Yes, all of our locations have fitting rooms. In fact, because of our no return no exchange policy we suggest that you do try on the clothing item you are considering before purchasing it. 

Can I return this because...

No. We do not do returns or exchanges. This message is clearly posted multiple times around each store. Due to the type of business that we are and some of the products that we sell we CANNOT and WILL NOT return or exchange any product after the point of sale. 
I'm very shy and I'm uncomfortable with the idea of my neighbour seeing me enter your store...
 
All Doctor Love stores are completely aware of this sensitive subject.  That's why we offer Private Shopping at all locations! If it's just yourself you're shopping for, or you and the Missus want to ask some questions that you would otherwise be embarrassed to ask, we will close our doors just for you to look around! You can inquire about products, and try on clothes with the comfort of knowing no one will be walking in on you! Just call ahead to book a Private Shopping session.
Can I order things directly from your website?

No, not at this point.  When you come into our stores, we show you that everything you're buying works, and how to use it safely.  Because we cannot, under any circumstance, accept returns or exchanges, we could not guarantee you get stuck with a defective toy or product. 
Are your stores cross dresser friendly?

Our stores are friendly to all of our customers. We are non-biased, open minded and discreet.

Can you find me a stripper for by buddy's stag party?


No, we are not affiliated with any strippers. Try contacting a strip club, where strippers are employed. We are a retail business which sells retail product only.
What should I look for in a lubricant if I am sensitive?

Look for a vegetable based glycerin, or a glycerin-free formula as women are often sensitive to glycerin.  Flavored lubricants often have sugar and are generally not appropriate for internal use.

Another ingredient to look for is grapefruit seed extract, which can actually help prevent infections. Pink brand lubricant is also formulated to be gentle and simple. Perfect for a woman's body.  JO Agape is another lubricant carried in all our stores that is glycerine-free, silicon-free, and oil-free, all of which can be irritants found in most lubricants.  
My toys don't last very long. Why is that? It's frustrating!
First, make sure you are taking batteries out when toy is not being used, especially when it is being stored for any length of time.  Second, be gentle with your toy. Don't pull on wires, force caps on,  submerge in water (unless it's waterproof) or bend aggressively. 

Make sure you register your toy online shortly after purchasing it.  Go to the manufacturer's website and register your toy. Many manufacturer's will warranty a toy for at least 30 days from the date of purchase.  The retailer where you purchased your toy is not authorized to return the toy for warranty.  

Talk to a staff member at your local Doctor Love for a recommendation of a higher quality toy. They will probably recommend a higher end silicone toy, possibly with a one-year warranty, like LELO. A rechargeable waterproof line, made with medical grade silicone.

You can always ask in-store in any of our four locations.  We also have a public Facebook profile under  Doctor Love & Hemp City, and are on Twitter @DoctorLoveStore.  We will send out special offers exclusively through social media, that we may not advertise in-store.
